Terms of use
Plain terms for using Monganda. Please read them before relying on anything here.

1. What Monganda is
Monganda is an online property advertising and lead-referral platform for Namibia. We publish listings supplied by estate agents and property owners, and we pass enquiries to them.
We are not an estate agency, a broker, a bond originator, a conveyancer or a valuer. We are not party to any transaction, we don't hold deposits or any money on your behalf, and we earn nothing from a sale.
2. Listing accuracy
Property details — prices, sizes, features, availability, photographs — are supplied by the agent or owner advertising them. We present that information in good faith but we do not independently verify it and we cannot guarantee it is accurate, complete or current.
Verify anything you intend to rely on directly with the agent, and have your conveyancer confirm it before signing an offer to purchase or paying a deposit.
Listings may occasionally be out of date, duplicated, or already sold or let.
3. Calculators and estimates
The bond, affordability, transfer-cost, currency, valuation and pre-qualification tools give estimates for guidance only. They use published rates and standard assumptions and cannot account for your circumstances, a lender's own criteria, or changes in rates and duties.
A "pre-qualified" badge is not a bank approval, a credit decision, or a guarantee of finance. It reflects only figures you entered yourself. Only a bank can tell you what you actually qualify for.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. Speak to a bank, a conveyancer and your own adviser.
4. Enquiries and your details
Sending an enquiry passes your name, contact number and any details you chose to add to the agent handling that listing. That is what it's for. Once they have it, they hold their own copy under their own obligations.
We can't guarantee an agent will reply, how quickly, or that a property is still available.
How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.
5. If you're an agent or advertiser
By submitting a listing you confirm that:
- You are entitled to advertise the property — you hold a valid mandate or own it.
- You own the photographs and description, or have permission to use them. Do not upload material taken from another portal, agency or photographer.
- The information is accurate and not misleading.
- You comply with Namibian law, including estate agency regulation and the Estate Agents Act where it applies to you.
- You'll respond to enquiries in a reasonable time and handle enquirers' personal information lawfully.
You keep ownership of your content and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it while it's listed with us.
We may edit, decline or remove any listing, and suspend any account, at our discretion — particularly where content appears inaccurate, misleading, or not yours to publish.
6. Using the site
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy or republish listings, photographs or descriptions without permission.
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries or listings.
- Use contact details harvested from the site for unsolicited marketing.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Impersonate another person, agent or agency.
7. Our content
The Monganda name, design, written guides, calculators and code belong to us. Listing content belongs to whoever supplied it. You may share links to listings freely — that's encouraged.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site running but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Namibian law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from:
- Reliance on any listing, estimate, calculator output or guide on this site.
- Any dealing, agreement or transaction between you and an agent, seller, landlord or buyer.
- A property being unavailable, misdescribed or differently priced than advertised.
- An agent's conduct, delay or failure to respond.
- Interruption or unavailability of the site.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia, and the Namibian courts have jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
